1. Access Boom Pricing and Pricing Settings
If you are using Boom Pricing, you can configure all related pricing rules such as public events, month seasonality, weekend settings, and holidays.
2. Configure Holiday Pricing (F-Holidays)
Use the F-Holidays option to define holidays, add markups for specific dates, and set a minimum number of nights for those dates.
If you are starting from scratch, use the AI holiday generation tool.
3. Generate Holidays with the AI Tool
Within the AI tool, select your country.
Enter your city and the year for which you want to generate holidays.
Select the option to override existing entries so the newly generated holidays replace the default ones.
Enable the include shoulders option to automatically include one day before and one day after each holiday.
Click Generate and wait for the process to complete.
Once finished, the system’s default entries will be overridden with the AI-generated holidays.
4. Adjust Holiday Percentages, Minimum Nights, and Listings
After generation, configure the required percentage markup and minimum number of nights for each holiday.
You can choose to apply these holiday rules only to units, only to houses, or select specific listings where the holiday settings should be applied.
If you do not want to apply the holiday rule to certain listings, simply unselect each of the corresponding checkboxes.
5. Add Holidays Manually
To add an additional holiday manually, click Add New.
Then select the date range, provide an event name, configure the markup percentage, and set the minimum number of nights required for that holiday.
6. Configure Public Events and Month Seasonality
Besides holidays, you can also configure Public Events in the same section.
Public events work in the same way as holidays: you can set dates, markups, and minimum stays.
Additionally, you can configure Month Seasonality.
If you are already using a month seasonality strategy or have configured month seasonality in your Boom Pricing, you generally do not need to use this additional month seasonality feature.
7. Set Weekend Settings
Configure Weekend Settings to define which days you consider as weekend days.
These selected weekend days will be used to apply the minimum weekend price, while the other days will follow the minimum weekday price.
8. Open LOS (Length of Stay) Settings
In addition to pricing settings, you can configure LOS (Length of Stay) rules to control pricing based on stay duration.
Here, you can edit your Boom pricing and add new LOS rules by clicking Add LOS Setting.
9. Create a New LOS Rule
Provide a name for your LOS rule, for example, “Six-Day Stay.”
Set the date range for when this LOS rule can be applied, specifying from which date to which date it is valid.
Then select the listings where you want this LOS rule to be applied.
10. Define LOS Discounts and Nights
After selecting the listings, configure the discount (or adjustment) you want to apply for this LOS rule and specify the number of nights it applies to.
This allows you to control prices based on the length of stay, ensuring more flexible and optimized pricing.
