1. Explore Pricing Settings
Begin by exploring pricing settings. If you are using Boom Pricing, you can configure public events, adjust for monthly seasonality, and fine-tune weekend settings. The initial option to consider is Holidays.
2. Configure Holidays
Configure holidays by applying specific markups for certain days and setting the minimum number of nights required. For beginners, our AI tool offers assistance. Start by selecting your country, then input your city and the relevant year.
3. Override Entries and Add Shoulder Days
Opt to override existing entries and include shoulder days, which means adding one day before and one day after each holiday. Simply click on Generate and wait for the process to complete.
4. Apply Markups and Minimum Nights
Upon completion, the system will overwrite the default entries. You can then configure the desired percentage markup and minimum number of days. Choose to apply these settings to units, houses, or selected listings.
5. Manage or Add Holidays and Public Events
To opt out of applying the settings, uncheck each box.
To manually add another holiday:
Click Add New
Select the date range
Enter the event name
Set the markup
Define the minimum number of days
Public events can be managed in the same way.
6. Configure Month Seasonality and Weekend Settings
Set up month seasonality, noting that if you are using a pricing strategy or already have this configured in Boom Pricing, this feature may be redundant. You can also adjust weekend settings here.
7. Define Weekend Days and LOS Rules
Define your weekend days for minimum weekend or weekday pricing. In addition to these pricing settings, manage the Length of Stay (LOS) rules.
8. Add a Length of Stay Setting
Modify your pricing in Boom by clicking on Add LOS Setting. Create a name for your configuration, such as Six Days Stay.
9. Configure LOS Discounts
Specify the date range and select the listings to which the rule will apply. Establish the discount and determine the number of nights. This allows for effective pricing control based on length of stay.
