Setting Up a Board for Handling Negative Reviews

Using the Tasks module, you can create a dedicated board to collect all negative reviews, enabling your team to focus on and address these reviews effectively.

This can be achieved in 2 ways:

Method A: Link the 'guest feedback' catalog item with your board

Using this functionality, tasks generated using a specific catalog item will automatically be displayed on the assigned board. For instance, to facilitate this for the negative reviews board, we will connect the 'guest feedback' catalog item.

Going forward, any task created under the 'guest feedback' catalog will be displayed on your chosen board.

ℹ️ Before moving forward, ensure you've set up your boards and sections specifically for "Negative Reviews".

How to link tasks to your boards:

  1. Access the Operations module , and go to "Catalog."

  2. Find the catalog item "guest feedback" and click the pencil icon.

  3. Scroll to "Auto Attach Task To Taskim Sections."

  4. Choose the board and section to which the task should be linked.​


Method B: Activate the "Negative Reviews" Automation in the Settings

Boom has the capability to automatically generate tasks for each negative review received. To activate this feature, follow the steps outlined below.

  1. Access the Settings module from the main menu, and navigate to the "Settings" tab

  2. Select “Reviews.”

  3. Switch on the “Create service call after bad review” option.

  4. Click the ‘Save’ button at the top.
