The Operations module lets you automate task creation. The system automatically generates tasks based on triggers. For instance, when there’s a checkout, it creates a new cleaning or inspection task for your team.
Tasks can be automatically assigned to specific agents or personnel if properties have designated staff. You can also include a checklist of subtasks to ensure your team completes all chores and set a fixed or hourly price for task completion.
Once the automation is set up, the system will generate tasks for the next 14 days and continue to do so within that timeframe.
There are two ways to create automation, also known as rules:
Individual Property Rule: This affects only the specific property.
Master Rule: This option generates a rule for each property in your portfolio.
Automations use your tasks catalog items to define the tasks created.

Create your Automation Rule
As a general rule, if a task is relevant to all properties, it’s best to use the Master Rule option for automation. This applies task creation to all your properties, including any new ones added in the future. For unique scenarios where a task is specific to one property, create an individual property rule.
Open the Operation module from the main menu and navigate to the "Automations" section
Click on the "+ New Rule" button

Add Your Checklists
A checklist is a feature used to display a set of subtasks related to a main task. It helps ensure that all necessary steps or chores are completed. For example, in a cleaning task, a checklist might include specific actions to ensure nothing is missed.
Checklists are part of the task catalog and can be added in the catalog item settings. To include checklists in your tasks, please refer to this article.
