Sending a reservation confirmation message is an essential part of streamlining guest communication. And including a portal link in these message enhances the guest experience by providing immediate access to their reservation details and enabling pre-check-in registration.
How to Activate the Automated Confirmation Message
Navigate to Automated Messages page under the Guest Module.
Locate the preconfigured inactive automations by toggling off the
filter. Look for the Tourist Portal message and toggle the Active button to enable it.
Note: This is our default preconfigured message for booking confirmations. If you prefer, you can create your own automated message by following this steps. Alternatively, you can customize this existing template to suit your needs.
Customizing the Confirmation Message
You can tailor the content of the message to align with your brand tone or provide additional information.
To Modify the Message:
Click on the Title of the message or the
icon under the Actions column.
βA modal will appear, allowing you to configure the automated message settings.
Key Customization Tip:
β’ Use the parameter {{portal_link}} to include the guest portal link in the message. This link enables guests to register for the form and view their reservation details right away.
π‘ Additional parameters can be accessed from the dropdown menu within the configuration modal, allowing further personalization of the message.
