Boom provides a distinct Guest Portal where your guests can access their booking information, including property access codes, WiFi details, and directions. Here, guests complete the pre-check-in procedure by uploading their ID and agreeing to the terms and conditions. Additionally, the portal offers an upselling feature, allowing guests to purchase extras like early check-in, late checkout, pool heating, and more, directly from the portal store.
After confirming their reservation, guests will receive a link to access the Guest Portal. To view the available information, they must first complete a Pre-check-in form. This form requires guests to upload their ID, agree to the terms, and request any special items.
💡 Note that guests do not need to sign up to use the guest portal. Access is provided automatically by the system identifying the primary email on the reservation, allowing only the main guest the capability to access the portal.

Getting There | Displays the property's address. Clicking on the address opens a navigation app like Google Maps for directions to the property. |
Reservation Details | Information on pre-check-in and any special requests from the guest. Guests can modify these details by selecting "Edit." |

Activate the Guest Portal
Guests are provided with a link for the Guest Portal once their reservation is confirmed which gives them access.
Select the CRM module
from the main menuNavigate to ‘Automations’
Toggle off the ‘Active Only’
to reveal the ‘Guest Portal’ pre-made automated messageActivate the ‘Tourist Portal’ automated message
💡 Note that you can create your own message and add the Guest Portal link directly in your own message simply by adding the variable {{portal_link}} to you message.
You can find the Guest Portal variable in the "Body Parameters" field
located at the bottom right side of the form, select the "Guest Portal Link" option:
⚠️ If you have a ‘Confirmation Message’ setup in your PMS, you should disable it to avoid duplicates.
