Regions

Regions are designed to amalgamate properties in the same vicinity into a singular, unified representation. This approach presents these properties as one collective entity, providing a broader, area-level performance insight.

The objective of creating regions is to facilitate improved management of extensive portfolios by grouping similar listings into more manageable segments. Ideally, each region would have its own dedicated area manager.

Benefits:

  • Enhanced management of property groups

  • Capability to concentrate on properties within a specific group

  • Slack Integration: the option to establish a dedicated Slack channel for a region, where all information, including tasks, early check-in/late check-out alerts, and more, will be relayed from Boom to that channel.

To create a new region:

  1. Open the “Settings” section from the left menu.

  2. Navigate to the “Regions” tab.

  3. Enter the name of the region in the ‘New Region’ field box.

  4. Click on the "save" button.

  5. Click the pencil icon next to the region to edit.

    1. Add or modify properties under "Select listings."

    2. Assign the relevant area manager

    3. Hit “Save”

Connect a Region to a Slack Channel

When Boom is linked to a Slack channel, it will transmit pertinent information from Boom to that channel, enabling your team to stay informed and up-to-date with all tasks and alerts related to the region.
