This error can occur for the following reasons:

  1. The connectivity provider has not been approved yet - Normally, the system will not allow you to map a Hotel ID that hasn’t been approved, but there may be instances where mapping is still possible.

Wait for the connectivity provider’s approval.

The Booking.com property status typically changes to “open and bookable” once the connectivity provider switch is approved, and the property is mapped with Boom. The system will then read the calendar and open the property.

Check the listing's connectivity provider status in booking.com:

    1. Log-in to booking.com extranet and open the listing

    2. Click on "Account" (located on the top right), and then "Connectivity Provider"

    3. when the connection is approved, QuickConnect LOS will display green checkmarks

    4. Proceed with remapping the listing in Boom using its Hotel ID

  2. The listing is "Unlisted" - if the listing is unlisted the calendar availability will not be sent to the channel

  3. The calendar availability was not sent to the channel.

To resolve this follow these steps:

    1. Open the listing in question in Boom and navigate to Channel Manager ⏵ Calendar

    2. To trigger the synchronization, change the value of the “Booking Window” field, save your changes, then revert to the previous value and save again

    3. Check if the listing is changed its status to Open in booking.com - This may take a few minutes to reflect (typically within less than 5 minutes)

  4. Booking.com closed the property - in some cases you will need to reach out to the channel support directly and request to open the property

In some instances, the status of the properties in the Booking.com extranet are currently set to 'Closed operations temporary' like this:

The XML connection is active (), indicating that the connection between Booking.com and the Channel Manager is functioning correctly.

If for some reason the property remains "Closed" you may need to reach out to Booking.com customer support directly.
