To charge guests for bookings or store items in Boom you'll need to connect a payment provider. Boom currently supports Stripe and the setup is fairly straightforward.

To connect Boom with your Stripe account follow these steps:

  1. Login to your Stripe account and obtain your Stripe API keys
    Refer to this article: https://stripe.com/docs/keys

  2. In Boom click on the Main Menu in the top left-hand corner, then click Configuration, then Settings. Once in Settings click on the Integrations tab

  3. Locate Stripe and click on Settings

  4. Click on the New Account button, located on top

  5. In the pop-up window, assign a name to your account and input the keys you acquired from step 1.

  6. Click on Save.

  7. Activating payments:

    1. Open the main menu and navigate to Guests ⏡ Experience ⏡ Checkin & Store Settings ⏡ Check-in

    2. Checkmark the options:

      1. Accept accommodation payments

      2. Optional: Accept deposit payments

    3. Save your changes
