Pre-Check-In Form

Overview

The pre-check-in form enables you to gather extra information from guests, secure their agreement to your terms, collect their ID uploads, and accommodate their special requests.

Guests can access the form upon their initial use of the Guest Portal and must complete it before viewing any information.

It includes the following sections:

Section 1: Basic Info & Guest Details

Check-in/out times

Guests can modify their check-in and checkout times within your guidelines, opting for a later check-in or an earlier checkout to facilitate your preparation.

Number of arriving guests

Arriving Guests list

Enter the names of all arriving guests, an option that varies based on the entered number of guests.

Purpose of visit

Specify the reason for their visit.

Section 2: Special Requests & Parking

Special Requests

Guests can select any special items they need from the provided list, which can be tailored to include only what you offer.

Parking Space

Specify if a parking space is needed.

Section 3: Contact Info, ID Upload & Terms

Contact Info

Enter their contact information (email will autofill).

ID Upload

Upload their ID as illustrated in the image

Agreement to Terms

Agree to Terms by Submitting the form. Click on the "Terms" text to view the terms.

Pre-Check-In Configurations

Set up and customize the pre-check-in form to fit your needs in the Digital Check-in settings under the Experience module.

Customizing your pre-check-in form

  1. In Boom click on the Main Menu in the top left-hand corner, then click Guests, then Experience. Once in Experience click on the Check-in & Store Settings tab

  2. Click Check-in on the left

    1. Update your Check-in/out times - by default check-in is at 4 pm and checkout is 11 am

    2. Indicate whether you accept payments

      ⚠️ Note that you must connect your account using the Stripe integration to allow payments.

    3. Select your check-in preferences and, if you wish, insert the link to your Travel Guide PDF (this is optional).

    4. Choose whether to present guests with the option to join a membership (if applicable), or leave it unchecked if irrelevant.

    5. Input your Terms of Use, which guests must agree to by submitting the form

    6. Documents: You can require additional docs such as B2 slip. Click on the + Add Document button and select B2 slip

  3. Click on Save to apply changes (located at the top left).

Customizing the Guest Special Requests List:

  1. Still within the Experience module click Special Requests on the left

  2. To add a new item:

    1. Click on + Add

    2. Name your item in the description field

    3. Choose between Yes/No to Counter

    4. Optional: Choose the amenity that must be present in the property for the item to be shown.

  3. Click on Save for your changes to apply

Accessing Submitted Pre-Check-In Form Info

You can track and monitor forms using the Experience module in the check-in/out section or within the guest chat.

Follow these steps:

  1. Still within the Experience module click Check-In/Out on the top (this is the default page)

  2. You will see a list of all forms relevant for TODAY with an indication of the form status under the "Filled" column

To view the guests form in the guest chat, follow these steps:

  1. Open the CRM module

  2. Select your desired guest to open the chat

  3. Navigate to the Guest option from the right side menu

Top KPIs

The top row will display the following respectfully for the date selected (default date is TODAY):

Incomplete Checkins

The number of incomplete forms relevant for today check-ins OR a selected date

Check-Ins

The number of total check-ins today OR a selected date

Check-Outs

The number of total check-outs for today OR a selected date

Early Checkins

The number of early check-ins expected today OR a selected date

Late Checkouts

The number of late check-outs expected today OR a selected date

Special requests

The number of Special requests relevant for today OR a selected date

Store purchases today

Store purchases made today OR on a selected date

Filters

Use the filters to narrow down the data and focus on a specific aspect

Filter options:

Check-in / out

Display only check-ins, check-outs or both

Check-in date

Select a specific check-in date

Listing

Focus on a selected listing

Channel

Focus on a selected channel

Region

Focus on a selected region

Missing Checkins only

Display only incomplete forms

Export

Export a list of guests
