Minimum requirements to connect
Minimum number of properties: 1 property in Namibia, South Africa with ZAR as a currency.
Property currency must be ZAR. Only properties in ZAR can be correctly connected to the channel.
Other requirements listed by the channel:
Payments: Property manager should have a South African bank account or accept VCC Payments
Photos: There should be a photo of each room and bathroom
At least 5 photos are required
Landscape photos: at least 1200 px (width) x 800 px (length)
Portrait photos: at least 1200 px (width) x 800 px (length)
Location: South Africa and Namibia

Charges & Payments
The channel charges the guest. There are various method options available - bank transfer, virtual credit card. The property manager is able to choose when they can receive payouts between the day of check-in, monthly, or a week before check-in.

Connecting to LekkeSlaap
Add the channel to Boom
In order to start advertising on LekkeSlaap, you first need to add it to your services.
ℹ️ Note: this step only needs to be done once.
Open Boom and navigate to Marketing ⏵ Channels and then to the channels tab
Select LekkeSlaap from the list of channels and click on "connect"
Follow the onscreen steps:
Step 1/4 - Overview on the channel - you will need to check the "I read and understand the basic connection rules for this channel" and click on "Save & Next"
Step 2/4 - Add your markup (optional)and click on "Save & Next"
Step 3/4 - Indicate whether you’re new to the channel or an existing client, then follow the instructions.
⚠️ Existing clients should contact Boom Support for further assistance.
Step 4/4 - Add y our properties
If you’re an existing client, we’ll reach out to LekkeSlaap to finalize the connection on their end.
Add Properties
Open Boom and navigate to Marketing ⏵ Channels and then to the channels tab
Select LekkeSlaap from the list of channels
Scroll down and click on "Add Property"
Select the properties you would like to add and click "Next"
You will see here the summary of all selected properties. Review the list and check if all properties are included. Click Next to proceed.
The content quality is analyzed. The process should take up to a few minutes, at the end a summary of properties’ content is displayed
If some properties are not ready to publish, improve the content:Check the content quality by unfolding the section with warning.
Verify if any data is missing or incorrect. It is possible to display the errors by unfolding the section. For more detailed summary of errors, download the XLSX report by clicking the Download Quality Check button.
Click the Improve button. The Edit property page is opened in a new tab.
Correct the content indicated in the report in the Edit property page.
Go back to the Property List and click the Re-check button
. If no further errors are displayed, the property is ready to publish.
If the properties are ready to publish, adjust the markup for each of them. You can adjust the mark-up for each property one by one or apply the same mark-up value for all at once and Click the Publish properties button.
The published properties enter the
Pending status. The LekkeSlaap reviews the connections requests.The property status changes to
Active and you can receive reservations now
Update listings
LekkeSlaap retrieves the property data per regular intervals. Hence, after the property content is updated in the Edit property page in Rentals United, it is the LekkeSlaap that is responsible for correct data retrieval. It is not possible to trigger the update from Rentals United.

Unlist from channel
Open Boom and navigate to Marketing ⏵ Channels and then to the channels tab
Select LekkeSlaap from the list of channels
Click "Manage" next to the relevant listing
Click on "Disconnect"
A pop-up window is displayed. Confirm the action by clicking the Yes, disconnect button.
ℹ️ Note: Now, no bookings can be made for this property through the LekkeSlaap. LekkeSlaap will unlist your property. You can start advertising the listing any time by clicking the Activate button next to the property.
