Adding Booking.com as a Channel in Boom

This step is required only the first time you add Booking.com as a sales channel in Boom’s Channel Manager. If you have already added Booking.com, you can skip this section.

To connect with Booking.com, you must add it as a sales channel. Follow these steps:

  1. Open the main menu in Boom and go to "Marketing ⏵ Channels ⏵ Channels"

  2. From the list of available channels, find Booking.com, hover over it, and click Connect.

  3. Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the connection process.

Once completed, you can proceed to add your listings by either mapping existing listings from the channel with Boom or publishing a new listing directly from Boom to the channel.

Connect your listings

During this process you will be required to add your booking.com Legal Entity ID or the associated email with your booking.com account

How to find your Legal Entity ID

⚠️ Legal Entity ID is required to be able to push new properties from Boom to the channel. If you don't have one, reach out to booking.com for assistace.

  1. Log-in to your booking.com account

  2. Open one of your listings and click on the listing’s title (on top, next to booking.com logo)

  3. Your legal entity ID will show at the bottom of the pop-up.

ℹ️ Please note that your entire Booking.com account may have a single LEID. However, in some cases, each property may have its own individual LEID. When this happens, you’ll see two IDs displayed side by side for each property: the Hotel ID (a) & the LEID (b). Use the LEID that matches the correct Hotel ID.

Add a Listing from Boom to Booking.com

Use this method to publish a new property to Booking.com.

⚠️ However, if you want the listing to be part of Booking.com’s payment program, you must create the listing directly within the Booking.com platform with the payment program settings enabled. Instead of publishing it, map the listing to Boom (refer to the next section: “Map an Existing Listing from Booking.com to Boom”).

To add a new listing to booking.com that isn't already there, follow the below steps. First, ensure your listing is created in Boom. If it hasn't been made yet, create the listing and publish and connect it to the channel manager. Please note that a minimum of 10 pictures is required for the listing to be published.

1. Publish & Connect your listing to the Channel Manager

If you've already completed this step, you can proceed to distributing your listing to the channel. This step allows us to distribute your listing to the different sales channels.

Once your listings is created:

  1. Open Boom and navigate to Channels page and then to the Listings tab

  2. Using the search bar, locate the desired listing

  3. Click on "Publish" .

This will add the listing to Boom's Channel Manager
You are now ready to distribute the listing to the channel

2. Distribute the listing to Booking.com

⚠️ If you intend to connect a multi-unit, refer to this method. This is because you'll need to first create the listing as a multi-unit in booking before establishing the connection.

  1. In Boom: Open the Channels page and navigate to “Channels”

  2. Select booking.com

  3. Click on "Add more properties" (or "Synchronize my first property" if this is your first time)

    or

  4. When asked if your property is uploaded in booking.com, select "No"

  5. Select (or add) your Legal Entity ID from the list, and click on "Next"

  6. Select the relevant listing from the dropdown (you can select multiple), and click on "Next" twice

  7. Set the markup (Optional) and click on "Publish Properties"

  8. Allow the system 1 hour to sync the property

  9. Check for any errors:

    1. Open the "Channels" page in Boom

    2. Click on the "Channels" tab and select Booking.com.

If there is an error, it will appear as follows:
