Booking Details
Changes to booking details are allowed for reservations made manually, through your Boom-powered booking website, or VRBO. Channels such as Airbnb and Booking.com require modifications through their respective apps.
You will be able to modify the following:
Listing
Stay Dates
Pricing
Reservation Status
Follow these steps:
In Boom click on the Main Menu in the top left-hand corner, then click Guests, then CRM.
Locate the relevant guest using the search field and click on its ticket to open the guest chat.
Click on the Home button
in the chat's side menu to expand it then click on the pencil icon on topA pop-up will then appear, where you can modify the guest's reservation. You can change the listing, stay dates, price (just uncheck the preserve price), and status.
Make your changes and click Save to apply.
π‘ You can also modify the reservation info by clicking on the same pencil icon in the reservations page.
Invoice: Adding Items and Discounts
Follow these steps:
In Boom click on the Main Menu in the top left-hand corner, then click Guests, then CRM.
Locate the relevant guest and click on its ticket to open the guest chat
Open the reservation page (Expand the chat's side menu and click on the square icon with an upward arrow).
Click on the Add Invoice Item button under the Finance section
In the "Type" field select whether to provide a discount or to add an additional charge:
Enter the amount
Add a description
Click Save.
Guest Details
Follow these steps to modify a guest's information:
In Boom click on the Main Menu in the top left-hand corner, then click Guests, then CRM.
Locate the relevant guest and click on its ticket to open the guest chat
Open the reservation page (Expand the chat's side menu and click on the square icon with an upward arrow).
Under the Guest section, click on the pencil icon to edit
Make your adjustments
Click Save.
