Frequently Asked Questions

My listings are not syncing with PriceLabs

To sync your listings with PriceLabs, they must be in “Listed” status. Unlisted listings will not sync.

What does the flow of pricing data look like?

When using a Pricelabs connection, you need to update your daily rates, minimum stays, and length of stay (LOS) discounts directly in Pricelabs. This data is then pushed to Boom, which subsequently updates your listings on the booking channels where your properties are listed. Essentially, the flow of data is: Pricelabs > Boom > OTAs (Online Travel Agencies).

How often does price syncing happen?

By default, Pricelabs syncs rates once every night between 6 PM and 6 AM Chicago time, or between 11 PM/12 AM and 12 PM/1 PM UTC, depending on daylight savings time.

If you have just added a listing and want to sync sooner rather than waiting for the nightly cycle, you can click on "Review Prices" to view the listing calendar and then click on "Sync Now."

What details should I set directly on Pricelabs?

You should set the following details directly on Pricelabs:

  1. Daily Rates

  2. Minimum Stays

  3. Length of Stay (LOS) Discounts

Can my previous PMS and Boom be connected to Pricelabs at the same time?

Yes, Pricelabs can support multiple Property Management Systems (PMSs). To configure your prices for your Boom listings, look for the listings with "Boom" indicated in the listing name column.
