The Quick Charge feature is designed to streamline your payment processes by allowing you to create a payment link. This can be used for collecting payments for value-added services and, at times, reservations. While we recommend adding value-added services to your store for easy access, the Quick Charge feature is especially useful when guests are interested in purchasing items that are only available in your store for inquiries or when a service is requested that isn’t listed in your store.
To use the Quick Charge:
Click on the "Quick Charge" button located in the "Store" section.
Input the email address of the guest who will be making the payment.
Complete the required details in the form.
Select the relevant options:
Create Service Call: Check this box if you want a service call to be automatically created for the purchase. For example, if the purchase pertains to cleaning, you can assign a task to your cleaning team.
Authorize & Capture: Select this option if you wish to place a hold on a certain amount on the guest's card. You can then choose to capture or release the amount later. This is useful for instances when guests rent equipment, where a deposit is required.
Click “CREATE CHARGE REQUEST” to generate the payment link.
After creating the charge request, go to the store tab of the reservation, copy the link under the hyperlinked text “Payment,” and send it to the guest.
Note: If you utilize the Analytics, payments made through Quick Charge will be reflected in the Store report.
